As well as Air Pressure Testing services, A.T. Solutions offers a range of professional Sound Insulation (Acoustic) design, testing, consulting and certification services, including Approved Document E (Part E) compliance testing. Our Acoustic Design and Testing services are used by construction companies as well as residential and commercial developers of all sizes across the UK.

We offer design, consultation, testing and certification services on a contract and project basis across the UK. When you work with us, you will have access to a highly professional site testing team wherever – and whenever - you need it.

Acoustic Testing & Certification

UK Building Regulations require pre-completion Sound Insulation Tests to be carried out on new and converted residential dwellings where Robust Details constructions have not been used. All Part E sound insulation tests are undertaken in accordance with BS EN ISO 140 and results are calculated according to the method given in BS EN ISO 717.

As required by The Building Regulations (England & Wales) Part E, all engineers carrying out A.T. Solutions acoustic testing can provide sound insulation testing through a partnership with an ANC Association of Noise Consultants Registration Scheme Member.

On completion of your tests, you will be provided with your ANC Test Certificate, in accordance with BS EN ISO 140-4 and BS EN ISO 140-7. You will also receive a report detailing the sound insulation testing results and our recommendations.
